Mom's Birthday Card

My mom turned 74 on March 15 and we all got together and mom and dad's to celebrate with her. That morning I got the idea to make a card for her like she always makes for the grandkids. She searches for and prints out pictures of them from the past year and puts them together in their birthday card. I thought this would be so funny to do for her and I knew she'd like it. I was surprised at how many pictures I ended up with and am really happy with how the card turned out! She really liked it, too! 

Funny Memories

This popped up on my Timehop memory app a few weeks ago and it gave me a good laugh. This is the floorboard in the middle part (the girls' part) of the van and it's full of shoes! I can't tell you how many times Molly would get in the car and take her shoes off right away. She often didn't put them back on before going inside once home, so many times I'd need to go out to the van and clean out the shoes. So sweet! 

The Royal Gorge

Here are some pictures from our summer 2024 vacation to Colorado! These are all of the Royal Gorge. While there we rode the gondola across the gorge and then walked back on the bridge. I remember going here on a family vacation when I was in high school and had fun reliving it. I was very proud of Ross, too, for riding the gondola and walking the bridge back - he is very much afraid of heights to this was huge for him to do! It was a such a great vacation! 

Chick fil A Bingo!

 Last Tuesday afternoon during spring break the girls and I, and one of Lucy's friends, played bingo at Chick fil A! I saw a post on their Facebook page that they were having free bingo from 4:30-5:30 one afternoon and thought it sounded like fun, so we went! I think the girls weren't as excited about it as I was at first, but once we got there they had fun! Molly and I both got a bingo and I chose a gift card for a free kids meal. When Molly bingoed she chose a stuffed cow over the free kids meal........this made me laugh! I think CFA will be doing bingo again and we will be there if so! 

Ripley's Believe It Or Not

The girls had spring break last week so Ross took off work for a couple of days and we went to Branson one afternoon. We ate at the Belgium Waffle and Pancake house for brunch where EACH of us completely cleaned our plates! I don't know if this happened because it was very delicious or we were all very hungry! 

After brunch, we went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not and believe it or not, it was a pretty fun time! Ross had given blood at work a few weeks ago and as a thank you he received 2 free admissions, so we took advantage of that and only had to buy 2 admissions for the girls! It was fun walking through there and seeing all the different things on display. It was a fun day together!
