Molly's Glasses............

Molly got glasses in February. She needs them for reading and doing close up things. She has never complained about them and really seems to like them. Molly will often wear them even just for watching TV or something like that. We let her do it because she says they help her to see. The only real problem we've had with her glasses is that she likes to take them off and set them down WHEREVER SHE WANTS and often forgets where she puts them. This can be very frustrating! A few weeks ago we had to do a lot of searching for them, just to find she had put them in a drawer but forget about it. It was funny...after the fact. :) You can watch a video about it here.

Matching Outfits

Every since Molly was born I've enjoyed dressing the girls in matching outfits. I know they're not twins, but it's just fun to me for them to match. So far they haven't seemed to mind, so that makes it easier! Here's two examples of their matching outfits...shirts and swimsuits! :)

Lord Of Lords

We sang this song at church a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I love it because it's such a beautiful song and it was sung at our wedding while Ross and I lit our unity candle and took communion together. It's been forever since we sang it at church and it took me a few seconds to realize what this song was when we were singing it. I immediately loved it and had a smile on my face once I realized it was Lord Of Lords. I looked at Ross and asked if he knew this song. We had a funny exchange about it and both kind of laughed because, well we should know it because it was played at our wedding. :) You can read the lyrics below and YouTube video of it here.

Beginning Of Summer Fun

We are two weeks into summer and it seems like we've already done a lot! Lucy got out of school on 5/21 and the next day was a Wednesday, so we had to go to the gym. I felt kind of bad that she couldn't sleep in on her first day of summer vacation but instead had to get up to go spend an hour at the gym daycare. So, to make up for it we got donuts after the gym! Later that afternoon we went to a strawberry patch and picked strawberries!

Friday of that week we went to Silver Dollar City with a couple of friends and had a great time! We all rode together and had fun riding rides and playing in the water there. So far summer is off to a great start!

Good, New Recipes

I made this sheet pan sesame chicken and veggies for dinner last week and loved it! It was very easy to make and tasted very good, too. It was a hit with Ross and Lucy. Molly didn't really like it, but some days it's hard to find anything that she likes to eat so I'm not going to let her bother me. :) I will definitely make it again and will probably double the sauce just to have a little extra. You should give this recipe a try!
