Granola Bars

Back at the end of June we went to see Toy Story 4 for a friend's birthday party. I was sitting next to Molly during the movie and about halfway through she looked at me and said "granola bar," and I got one out of my purse and gave it to her to eat. 

This little exchange stuck with me and I took a picture of her eating the granola bar because I love that she just assumed I would have this for her. She trusts me 100% and knows that I will have whatever she needs. I hope she will always look to me for whatever she needs. :)

Workout Buddies And Donuts....Again!

Yesterday was the last day of summer break for Lucy and her last day to go to the gym for quite a while. She started first grade today. Molly starts Pre-K this Thursday. She will go Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and will still go to the gym with my on Monday and Wednesday. For something fun to do on her the last days of break we got donuts after the gym on Monday. We also all dressed in our workout clothes and were workout buddies together. :) I'd remembered that we had done this last year and wanted to do it again this year! I love making memories like this with the girls!

iPad Timer

We have two iPads. One is ours and one we bought for Lucy to use when she was maybe 2. We let both girls play the iPads here and there, and I put time limits on it so they shut down after a certain period of time. I can always tell when their time limit is up because I always hear yelling and complaining about their time being over. 

There are some apps that can still be used after the time limit is up. One of those apps is the clock/timer/stopwatch. I turned this iPad on the other day, the one that Molly uses, and noticed the stopwatch was at 14 days. This made me laugh so much! I'm sure when all of Molly's apps shut down she started finding anything she could open to continue playing on the iPad. I guess she found the stopwatch and forgot to turn it off!

Father/Son Synchronized Swimming

Last week Ross' parents were the week in Branson for vacation. They've done this a few times before and we've gone down to spend the day with them. The girls have enjoyed swimming in the pool at their resort, so were excited to do the same this year. We all had a fun time swimming together, especially Ross and Larry. They decided to show us some of their fancy swimming moves and Wanda was able to catch it on camera for us! You can watch their mad skills here!
