Walmart Order Return

I bought this bag of chips on one of my last Walmart online orders. I noticed the open bag when I got home and remembered a friend had told me you can return damaged items like this in the app. So I opened up my app, started a return, and got my refund! The best part is that I did not have to return the item to the store and didn't have to do much explaining about why I was returning the item. I think that is a great feature and I sure hope people don't take advantage of it and they do away with it. 

Toothbrush Surprise

One day when I was going to the bathroom in our half bath right off the kitchen I noticed this:

It was two toothbrushes just sitting on the floor staring at me. I had no idea where they had come from so asked Ross and the girls about it. Ross said he was cleaning in the bathroom and found them under the vanity so set them there to be funny! I have no idea how long they were under the vanity, but I would bet money that they've been there for yearS, plural! The girls always used to brush their teeth in this bathroom in the mornings and it kind of drove me crazy, but it was easy and we got it done. I always wondered if they would ever use their own bathroom to brush their teeth. Thankfully, they did make that transition upstairs, but without these two toothbrushes! Based on the type of toothbrushes they were, I'd say they had probably been under there for 3 years! 

Toaster Oven Smores!

We like to make smores and since we don't have a fire pit we have found that using our grill to make smores works pretty well. One particular night we wanted smores but it was way too hot to stand on the deck to make them. We thought about using the oven, but then realized we could use our toaster oven instead, so we did! It worked pretty well and satisfied our smores craving!  

Books & Drinks

All summer Lucy wanted to go to Barnes and Noble to look at books and Molly wanted to go to Starbucks. One summer morning I made both of their dreams come true! Our Barnes and Noble has a Starbucks cafe in it, so we did both! Lucy enjoyed looking at books and even bought one and both girls enjoyed their Starbucks treats! I love making memories like this! 

Branson Day Trip

 We took a day trip to Branson one Saturday in late July and it was a pretty fun time! We went to Target and Walmart (because why not?!) and then did some shopping at the Tanger outlet mall. We looked through a furniture store and then ate at a place called Billy Gail's that has huge pancakes. We ended the night with some snow cones on the Branson Landing to watch the light display. It was a fun little trip!
