I remember being a kid and my mom always coming in the dressing room with me and wanting to do it alone. I'm sure this won't become a usual thing when trying on clothes now, but it was fun to let them have a little independence!

Private Dressing Rooms
We went shopping a few weeks ago for new jammies for the girls. They decided they could go into the dressing room themselves to try on their jammies. Ross and I waited outside while they tried on the jammies and stepped out to show us. This was so funny to me because I think they felt really cool doing it alone!

#LifeGoals
I took Lucy and Molly last weekend to Omaha, Nebraska, for our annual visit. (Ross had to work, so he couldn't go.) My parents are both from Omaha, high school sweethearts for 49 years in fact, and growing up our summer vacations were spent in Omaha visiting our grandparents. Since about 2009, we've made it a point to go to Omaha each summer to celebrate my Gramma's birthday in July. She turned 91 on July 10 and is still going strong! She's the only grandparent I have left and I sure do love her.
She has a three-wheel bike that my dad bought and refurbished for her a few years back and she rides it most every day when she can. She rode it one morning while we were there and I was so impressed with this! She rode six times around her driveway and then went down the road a bit and back. I so want to be like that when I'm 91 years old!

| I teased her that her outfit matched her bike! |
| For as long as I can remember we've always taken selfies together...like even before selfies were cool and done with digital cameras. :) |

Cow Day 2019
Each year Chick Fil A has "Cow Appreciation Day" where they encourage people to dress up as a cow and come in for a free entree. We participated in this last year and had to do it again this year! It was a lot of fun! I used my costumes from last year and the girls and I got ourselves free breakfast! And, of course, we had to bring Daddy along later that night so we could get free dinner! Chick Fil A has the best customer service around.

Fourth Of July
We had a low-key Fourth of July this year. We slept in and had a late breakfast of donuts. :) We bought some fireworks, a few groceries, and then headed out to my parents' house to spend the day. We sat around for a while and then watched the annual Nathan's Hotdog Eating Competition. We've spent the last three-four Fourths at my parents' house and have enjoyed watching that show...although it's kind of gross! Ross and the girls swam a little bit and after dinner we had fun shooting off some fireworks. It was a very nice, relaxing day.

"I"m NOT Tired!"
Molly used to take a nap every day from about 1:30-2:30-3ish. Starting in about April, it was getting very hard to get her to nap. So I decided she could start phasing out of naps. Now she naps maybe one to two times a week, or as needed. The majority of the time when I tell her it's time to nap she defiantly says "I don't need a nap" or "I'm not tired." It's kind of funny and kind of frustrating, because I know she's tired! The picture below is one of those days that she said, "I'm not tired," to me when I told her it was time to nap. I gave up and let her rest on the couch with some snacks and a movie. I wish I could have seen how long it took her to fall asleep...but you know, she wasn't tired, so I didn't think I needed to watch her. ;)
