Carving Pumpkins!

Ross broke out his knives this past Saturday to carve the girls' pumpkins for them. He's such a good daddy. :) This year he even used his drill to work on the eyes of Molly's cat pumpkin. It was kind of fun, but kind of messy! You can watch him work his magic drill skills on the pumpkin here!

KPM Halloween

Each year Ross' work decorates for Halloween and invites the employees' kids to come trick or treat through their halls. This is the third year we've done this and each year I am so impressed with what they put together! Each hall/department picks a theme and they go all out with their decorations and are definitely NOT stingy on the amount of candy and treats they give away!

I sure do have some pretty girls! This is Lucy's first grade picture and Molly's Pre-K picture. :)

Chick fil A Worker

Our school had a fundraiser night at Chick-fil-A last week and since I'm part of the PTA, I got to help out at the event. Woohoo! One of my jobs was to throw away trash, clean up tables, and refresh beverages. I think I did a pretty good job at my position!

Two Years.........

I was notified a few weeks ago that I have been checking my Timehop app everyday in a row for two years now. I can't decide if that's something to be proud of or embarassed of?! Timehop is a fun app that connects to your Facebook posts, the camera roll on your phone, and other apps you post on. It shoes you your posts or pictures taken on that day each year in the past. It's a great way to remember everything you've done on any given day over the last years. You should check it out if you haven't!

Fun With Filters

Molly and I have 30 minutes to kill while Lucy is doing her piano lessons, so we've discovered the fun of playing with SnapChat filters. Aren't these just crazy!?

Fall Fest 2019

Our school had its annual Fall Fest last weekend and being a part of the PTA, I had a hand in planning the event. It wasn't too bad and I enjoyed all that I had to do. One of my jobs was to put together a photo area and I think I nailed it! I'm absolutely in love with this photo booth area I put together! I found a few ideas on Pinterest and then had a few freinds help and we got it all put up. We were able to borrow the cornstalks, hay bales, mums, and pumpkins from an area garden/nursery and I am so thankful for that! I just love how it turned out and was thrilled seeing all of the people that stopped to have their picture taken at it!

Hy-Vee Photo Shoot!

We went to Hy-Vee a few weeks ago one Saturday night and had to snap a few pictures as we were leaving. Each year they have a really nice display of pumpkins and mums oustide of the store, and this makes the third year in a row that we've done our own little photo shoot there! Enjoy our fall pictures!
