Molly Is Here!

Molly Mae Wiseman is now 1 week old! She was born on Friday, February 20, 2015, at 5:14am. She weighed in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and 19 inches long. She was and is just perfect! I went into labor Thursday afternoon with contractions that started coming steady and hard. We went into the hospital that night around 9pm and labored until about 2:45am when I started pushing. I pushed for a little over an hour with no luck and ended up having Molly by C-section. I really didn't mind this at all! Lucy was born by C-section, too.

It was quite the long, tiring night, but the result was worth it! We stayed at the hospital until Sunday morning and then brought Molly home to begin our life as a family of four. Enjoy the pictures!

Baby Love

When I was pregnant with Lucy, Ross and I took these pictures together and I love them. I think I was 34 weeks pregnant in these pictures.

So, naturally, while pregnant with Molly we had to take the same pictures and I love them just as much! I was 35 weeks pregnant in these pictures.

Baby Showers!

I have been so thankful to have had two baby showers for Molly! The first one was given by two of my best friends, Pam and Natalie, and the second by my friends at the gym.

The first one was at Pam's house and it was so nice and pretty! About ten girls came and we had such a nice time! We had yummy brunch food and played a fun game trying to multitask while holding a baby and a phone. I got some nice clothes for Molly and diapers - we can always use diapers!

Pam's yummy candies attached to prayer cards for our family.

And my friends at the gym had a shower for me a few weeks ago. It was so nice of them and I have really enjoyed getting to know them this past year. I am blessed!

Molly's Room

I've been thinking about and working on Molly's room for quite a while and I'm so glad to say it's finally ready! I do have two more picture frames to put up on the wall and will need to update the frames that are already there once she's born, but that's it! I'm happy with how it turned out!

We moved all of Lucy's furniture into Molly's room and got Lucy new furniture. We did that because I wanted Lucy to have white furniture and my parents had a white dresser my sister and I used when we were babies so decided to use that for Lucy. I also took the frames below Molly's name and the mirror above her changing table from Lucy's room, too. I just didn't know what else to put in here and had ideas to update Lucy's room, so just went with it!

The frames above her crib are two Bible verses and a cross stitch that my Mom did for us when we were little.

The frames below the shelves are a picture of me holding Lucy when she was a newborn and then a cross stitch that my Gramma Ward made for my Mom when we were babies. It says "Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow, for babies grow up we've learned to our sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep." I have always loved this and my Mom gave it to me when I was pregnant with Lucy. It has dust on the top of it which I will not clean off! I'm going to have newborn pictures taken of Molly and will ask the photographer to take a picture of Molly and me that's similar to the one of Lucy and me and add it to the wall.
