We tried to start something this summer but it didn't really take off! It's "Wiseman Family Endless Summer Nights" and was to be each Thursday night where we would invite some friends over and hang out in the evening at our neighborhood pool. I thought of this because we never swim at night and I thought it would be fun to take advantage of the ability to swim at night and also invite friends over to hang out with. We planned to do it every Thursday night but since our first night on June 13 we have not done it again! Mainly because we were gone or it was the 4th of July or it was raining, but we are hopeful to finish the summer with a few more Wiseman Family Endless Summer Nights!
The one night we did it we invited our friends over who we've known since before the girls were born. They have an 8th and 5th grader and our girls have always gotten along together so well and really enjoy hanging out. Ross and I get along very well with their parents, so it was a great time together! We had dinner together and then lounged around in the pool. It was a fun night!
