Lucy Has Discovered Frozen

We recorded the movie Frozen on this past Thanksgiving Day. Lucy watched it a little here and there since then, but around Christmastime, she completely discovered it and fell in love with it. Or maybe she fell in obsession with it!

She, as every other little girl in America it seems, LOVES the main song in the movie - Let It Go. She can sing the "let it go" verse very well and tries hard to sing the other words. She does a good job watching it, too. She will stay completely involved in the movie for about the first 30 minutes. After that she loses attention and will get up and play with her toys, but still keeping an eye on the movie.

And anytime a commercial for it comes on tv or she hears any part of "Let It Go" she will stop what she is doing and turns in the direction of where the song is coming from. We have embraced her love for the movie and let her watch it about two times a week. We've also bought her a Frozen shirt that has Elsa and Anna on it, a Frozen water bottle, and my sister gave her two Frozen books along with two pairs of Frozen socks. Lucy LOVES wearing the shirt and socks.

The funniest thing about all of this is that Lucy has learned how to act out a part of the movie. It was the funniest thing to us when we realized what she was doing. There's a part in the movie where Anna is trying to get Elsa to come out of her room and play with her. Anna knocks on the door and says, "Elsa, it's me, Anna." Lucy has learned this and acts it out herself using our front door, her bedroom door, and even the rungs on her crib. It is so funny and cute. We got it on video...enjoy!
