My mom used to make us homemade play dough when we were little and she sent me the recipe to make for Lucy. The recipe is from my Gramma Ward and is pretty easy to make.
1 c flour
1/2 c salt
2 T cooking oil
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 c water
food coloring
In a saucepan, mix dry ingredients. Add water, oil, and food coloring. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, unitl dough forms. Remove from pan and place on wax paper. Let cool and then play!
