Lucy is currently obsessed with Toy Story. She watched the movie in January at Aunt Stephanie's house and has been in love with it ever since! We have borrowed my parent's copy of Toy Story to watch here and Aunt Stephanie has given Lucy one of Trevor and Cody's Buzz Lightyear and Woody toy figures. Lucy loves to carry them around the house and play with them. She gets so excited when Toy Story is on and has such a funny, hearty laugh when she sees them. It's really cute!
I found a Crayola package with Toy Story coloring pages and bought it for Lucy. I took the pages out of the cardboard box it came in and put the box in the recycle bin. The bin is kept in our garage right by the steps going into the house. Last Friday night we went to Bass Pro Shops for Lucy to walk around and look at the fishys and turtles. Well, when she was walking out the door to the car she saw the Toy Story coloring box in the recycle bin and wanted to get it out. Ross had her and thought okay, that's fine, so got it out for her. They went outside and took a little walk up the block and Lucy carried the box with her. I came outside to see this and thought it was the funniest thing!
The box rode in the car with us to Bass Pro and when I got Lucy out of the car to go in the store she wanted to take the box with us. I said no, let's leave it here, but she was not having it. To avoid a fit I said okay, you can take it. I figured it didn't really matter and we could just put it in the stroller. When in the store she asked for Buzz and Woody a couple of times to show them to the fishys. So cute!!
