We have now entered the phase of orthodontist visits with Lucy! When we went for a regular checkup to the dentist last December, she said it was probably time to talk to an orthodontist about how best to move forward with her teeth. We did some looking and settled with someone who is going to start with giving her an expander and then adding braces to her front four teeth. She might need braces all the way around later on, but for now this will be a good start. She will go June 1 to have the expander placed and then I think about 3-4 months later will have the braces put on. I think she's kind of nervous, yet kind of excited about this. I'm thankful we have the means to get her teeth fixed, because a pretty smile is an important thing!
